Farm Energy Efficiency Workshop Series:

Looking for ways to save energy on the farm?  Interested in programs that may assist you in making your operation more energy efficient?  Come see what farms in Merrimack County have done.  Merrimack County Conservation District will be sponsoring four workshops in August showcasing farm energy efficiency practices.  Energy auditors will be available to discuss their recommendations.  Producers will be available to discuss the pros and cons of different options.  USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Southern New Hampshire Resource Conservation & Development, and Merrimack County Conservation District will be available to talk about assistance to make energy efficiency a reality.  Each workshop will be from 4-6pm and refreshments will be served.  Please contact the District at 223-6023 or email info@merrimackccd.org for questions, directions, or to register for the workshop.  Please join us for one or all of the farm energy workshops: August 19th at Highway View Farm in Boscawen, August 21st at Spring Ledge Farm in New London, August 26th at Carter Hill Orchards in Concord, and August 28th at North Family Farm in Canterbury.
